Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in women’s health or obstetrics is preferred.
• Knowledge of EHR systems, eClinicalWorks, preferred.
• Bilingual skills in Spanish, Pashto, Burmese or Rohingya to assist a diverse patient population.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examinations by taking vital signs and medical histories.
• Assist healthcare providers during examinations and procedures, ensuring instruments are available.
• Perform phlebotomy and specimen processing.
• Manage patient records and documentation, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
• Answer phone calls and schedule appointments, providing excellent patient service.

We are seeking an Ob/Gyn Medical Assistant with a passion for service excellence to join our Women's Health team in the Dallas area. The OB/GYN Medical Assistant would support providers in delivering high-quality care to women across all stages of life, including gynecologic and obstetric services. This role combines clinical and administrative responsibilities to ensure efficient patient flow, excellent patient experience, and adherence to healthcare standards.

Location: Dallas (5750 Pineland Dr.)

Here's a Sneak Peek At What You Will Do

• Prepare patients for examinations by taking vital signs and medical histories.
• Assisthealthcare providers during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments are available, such as for well-woman exams, PAP smears, prenatal care, IUD placements, in-office biopsies.
• Perform phlebotomy and specimen processing, adhering to safety and sterilization protocols.
• Manage patient records and documentation, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
• Answer phone calls and schedule appointments, providing excellent customer service to patients.

What You Need To Succeed

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) preferred. Will consider completion of a medical assistant training program or equivalent years of experience.
• Current BLS/ CPR certification
• Experience in a women's health or obstetrics setting strongly preferred
• Knowledge of electronic health record (EHR) systems;eClnicalWorkspreferred.
• Bilingual skills in Spanish, Pashto,Burmeseor Rohingya toassista diverse patient population.
