Job summary

TriHealth Women’s Services in Cincinnati, OH, is seeking a Full-time Medical Assistant to support physicians in examinations, vital signs, and patient prep. The role includes cross-training to improve care delivery. Candidates should be graduates of an approved program with CMA or RMA credentials and up to 1 year of office experience.

Additionally, duties include charting, basic lab tasks per CLIA, and ensuring a safe, professional environment. Sign-on bonus up to $500 applies where eligible.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved technical, professional or vocational program (Required).
• Up to 1 year experience in a medical/physician office setting (Required).
• Perform EKGs, injections and venipuncture per CLIA guidelines and policy.
• RMA and CMA certification or eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with patients, interviews and records vital signs.
• Prepares treatment rooms and assists physician during examinations.

Job Overview

This position assists the physician in examination and treatment of patients, performing miscellaneous delegated duties under the direction of physician. This position also interviews patients, measures vital signs, such as pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height, and records information on patients' charts, and prepares treatment rooms for examination of patients. The position will be cross‑trained to perform duties to enhance efficiency and continuity of delivery of patient care; work cooperatively within the team concept demonstrating flexibility, motivation and commitment to quality patient care. This position's tasks include patient related duties, medical record maintenance/documentation, and safety/environmental duties.
