CENTERS FOR FOOT & ANKLE CARE LLC is seeking a Medical Assistant with GXMO Certification to join our Cincinnati-area clinics. You will multitask in a fast-paced, friendly setting and travel to our locations as needed.

Responsibilities include performing radiographic exams, collecting patient information, assisting with in-office procedures, managing referrals, and maintaining radiation safety and stocked equipment to support our physicians and patients.

Qualifications

• GXMO Certification required for radiographic duties.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Ability to travel to multiple Cincinnati-area clinics.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic exams and ensure film quality.
• Assist physicians with in-office procedures and collect pertinent patient information.
• Schedule testing procedures such as MRIs.
• Maintain radiation safety per departmental policy and keep x-ray equipment clean and stocked.
• Provide direct patient care and communicate patient needs with physicians.
• Complete forms, referrals, recerts and update charts.

Description

We are looking for a Medical Assistant with GXMO Certification that has the ability to multitask and able to handle a fast paced, but fun work environment. This position will require travel to our clinics in the Cincinnati area as needed.

Requirements

• Performs all radiographic exams and is responsible for all film quality


• Assists the doctor by collecting pertinent patient information


• Performs selected treatments, diagnostic procedures, and various xrays


• Assisting physicians with minor in-office medical procedures


• Scheduling testing procedures such as MRI's


• Communicating patient needs with physicians


• Direct patient care


• Completing forms/referrals/recerts and updating charts


• Maintains radiation safety per departmental policy
  
• Keeps all x-ray equipment and supplies clean, maintained and stocked.


• Application of splints, braces and wound dressings in correct manner.


• Assist physician with exams/procedures.


• Other duties as assigned
