Our MAs collaborate with physicians and non-clinical staff to assure we are providing our community with comprehensive and compassionate health care.**POSITION OVERVIEW:** The **Medical Assistant** will be responsible for daily patient flow for each respective physician for whom they work. Must use triage skills to gather information from which designated staff can make appropriate patient health assessments and to anticipate physician's needs as they relate to the patients' medical care.This position does not manage any other caregivers.**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES:**Escorts patients to exam rooms and prep for physician assessment.Records and maintains patient's medical data in patient's medical chart.Assists physician with answering phone requests from patients and/or other medical professionals and institutions.Performs a variety of physician-requested ancillary and/or surgical patient procedures.
