Job summary

MainStreet Family Urgent Care in Fitzgerald, GA is looking for energetic Medical Assistants to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care to our patients while supporting the on-site provider with various responsibilities.

Your duties will include triaging patients, performing lab tests, managing patient records, and assisting healthcare providers during examinations. We offer competitive compensation starting at $15/hr and a range of benefits including health, dental, and vision coverage.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, etc.).
• Prior Medical Assisting experience or education is beneficial, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assisting Provider(s) in the care of patients.
• Triage patients promptly and in line with clinic procedures.
• Document vital signs and updates to the patient’s medical history.
• Perform lab tests in compliance with clinical guidelines.
• Manage digital patient records.
• Prepare examination rooms for patient appointments.
• Administer prescribed medications under provider supervision.
• Assist healthcare providers during patient examinations.
• Position patients for X-rays.
• Help monitor and manage medical inventory.

Skills
