ConvenientMD LLC is seeking a Medical Assistant to deliver high-quality patient care and support providers in our Maine clinics. You will perform clinical tasks, triage patients, take vital signs, assist with procedures, and document in the EHR while ensuring HIPAA-compliant handling of patient information.

The role requires a Medical Assistant certification or equivalent experience; BLS is mandatory. Strong communication, teamwork, and technical skills with MS Office and EHR systems are

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Medical Assistant certification with 1 year experience or 2 years MA experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or Red Cross.
• Compassionate and patient-focused attitude.
• Proactive and confident communicator with colleagues and patients.
• Trustworthy and able to maintain HIPAA compliance.
• Team player and cross-collaborator.
• Technically savvy with MS Office; able to learn Experity and other systems.

Responsibilities

• Engage with patients; provide information on conditions, treatments, and medications.
• Triage patients; take vital signs and collect medical histories.
• Assist with minor procedures and phlebotomy; document in EHR.
• Administer medications under supervision per state rules.
• Collaborate with clinicians to coordinate discharge and training.
