Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Medical Assistant Program preferred.
• 1+ years MA experience under a licensed healthcare supervisor within the last 3 years preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at time of hire
• Knowledge of medical terminology strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Register patients, verify insurance, and collect required documentation.
• Process co-pays and schedule appointments.
• Prepare patients for examination and obtain medical history.
• Assist with vital signs, room setup, and specimen collection.
• Maintain medical records and clean, organized exam rooms.
• Answer calls and coordinate referrals.
• Curb patient questions and provide care coordination support
