Join our team as a Medical Assistant - Urgent Care at Providence. We are seeking dedicated healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care in our urgent care clinics.

Job Description

The Medical Assistant (MA II) works under the delegation of a licensed practitioner to perform duties that assist in providing patient care. A Medical Assistant (MA II) performs all aspects of the Associate Medical Assistant (MA I) role and is fully competent in clinical needs/functions for the assigned clinic or location. They are expected to perform in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed practitioners in patient care activities
• Perform clinical tasks such as obtaining vital signs, administering injections, and medication administration
• Follow established policies and procedures

Qualifications

Required

• Graduate of an accredited school with hands-on clinical training or equivalent military medical training
• Minimum one year of medical assistant experience
• CPR certification (American Heart Association) within 30 days of hire
• Six months of healthcare experience

Preferred

• National Medical Assistant Certification upon hire

Additional Information

Pay Range: $23.15 - $35.42 per hour. Additional compensation may include shift differentials, overtime, and bonuses. This is a part-time, on-site position with variable shifts.
