WORK LOCATION

  • Medical Assistant Trainer will be assigned to train new MA employees in our Treasure Coast region; Sebastian, Vero Beach, Stuart, Palm Beach Gardens, Wellington, Lake Worth, West Palm Beach, Delray Beach, and Boca Raton.
  • Must be able to travel to all locations within the region.

Position Summary:

  • To be the subject matter expert on training new staff and/or retraining existing staff, offering support to staff during training, and acting as an advocate for change of necessary policies.
  • To ensure uniformity and adherence to policies throughout the organization.
  • Will demonstrate a thorough and detailed understanding of all SOPs to ensure that they are applied appropriately during the training process.
  • Will be responsible for overseeing training of staff from various locations, both in person and via webinar.
  • Will be expected to assist in other areas when requested to ensure proper training is delivered.
  • Extensive travel, including extended stays could be required.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of MA experience that includes specific experience running a clinic lab is required.
  • Strong knowledge of Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software required.
  • Attention to detail with strong ability to multitask.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with a wide variety of personalities.
  • High school diploma or GED is required.
