This is a Safety Sensitive position which requires thorough background checks and drug testing. The Medical Assistant (Trainee) for the Colville Tribal Healthcare Authority provides responsive, high quality health care services that meet the needs of all users at their assigned location as part of a supervised apprenticeship. Incumbent will receive pay increases upon specific junctures of the two year apprenticeship program. Must be willing to sign an agreement to work for CTCHA for two years. The Medical Assistant (Trainee) will perform their job duties in a professional manner while assuring that all the needs of the patients are met with a pleasant demeanor.
Pursuant to Tribal Policy, if this position is safety sensitive it is subject to pre-employment drug testing. In addition, this position is subject to reasonable suspicion and post-accident drug testing.
TRIBAL MEMBER AND INDIAN PREFERENCE WILL APPLY; PREFERENCE WILL ALSO BE GIVEN TO HONORABLY DISCHARGED VETERANS WHO ARE MINIMALLY QUALIFIED.
If required of this position, you must possess and maintain a valid Washington State driver’s license and be eligible for the Tribes’ Vehicle Insurance. In addition, this position may be subject to pre-employment background clearances. If applicable, these clearances must be maintained throughout employment.
