Norton Healthcare in Louisville, KY is offering a Medical Assistant Trainee program with paid training from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Trainees will rotate through classroom and clinical settings at 1001 Breckenridge Ln and various sites in Louisville and Southern Indiana before transitioning to a full-time Medical Assistant role.

The program covers anatomy, terminology, medication math, pharmacology, and both clinical and administrative skills.

Formación

• Graduate of a medical assistant program or one year as a Medical Assistant.
• High School Diploma required for Medical Assistant Trainee track.

Responsabilidades

• Take patients to rooms and greet them.
• Obtain vital signs and schedule appointments.
• Assist with medical procedures and perform phlebotomy.
