This is a benefited, full-time position generally working Monday-Friday, either from 7:30am-4pm or 8am-4:30pm. No weekends or holidays. Hours will vary as needed. Located at Scripps Clinic Torrey Pines in La Jolla.

Your job duties:
- Rooming patients
- Checking vitals
- Assisting with procedures
- Clinic prep assisting with Provider specific protocols
- Predominantly back-office responsibilities but is expected to help with front-office duties on an as-needed basis
- Maintains a clean, organized, and safe environment
- Organizes and performs patient care services that support the physician’s practice
- Relays instructions from the physician to the patient or authorized person
- Collects patient data in person and by phone
- Documents patient concerns, messages, and care provided in the electronic medical record for the physician's review
- Administers medications specifically directed by the physician
- Schedules appointments and procedures
- Completes and accurately takes messages
- Routes messages to the appropriate area for direction
- Enters orders and referrals
- Obtains pre-certifications
- Sets up cases in EPIC for appointments, including clinical, lab, imaging, and more
- Performs basic registration and updates demographics
