Job summary

Hightop Health is seeking a Medical Assistant / TMS Technician to administer TMS therapy for patients with depression, anxiety, and OCD. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver individualized treatment plans and ensure patient safety throughout sessions.

The ideal candidate is a Certified Medical Assistant, with training in TMS preferred; Athena EHR experience is a plus. This role requires empathy, strong communication, and the ability to work across clinics in the Atlanta area

Qualifications

Must be a certified Medical Assistant with valid credentials.
TMS administration certification or training preferred; willing to train right candidate.
Experience with Athena EHR strongly preferred.
Experience in a clinical setting, ideally in mental health.
Strong interpersonal, communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with regulations and licensure requirements.

Responsibilities

Conduct initial patient assessments to determine suitability for TMS therapy.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and guidelines.
Perform TMS therapy sessions according to established protocols and safety standards.
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
Document patient responses and treatment outcomes accurately and comprehensively.
Collaborate with psychiatrists and nurse practitioners to coordinate care.
Educate patients and families about TMS therapy and address questions.
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical and legal standards.
