Job Summary

The Medical Assistant supports patient care by performing clinical and administrative tasks under the supervision of a medical provider. Responsibilities include assisting with medical procedures, maintaining exam rooms, facilitating patient intake, and ensuring efficient clinic operations while providing excellent service to patients and staff.

Essential Functions

• Assist providers with non-invasive medical procedures, such as taking vital signs and preparing patients for exams.
• Prepare and clean exam rooms before patient visits and procedures.
• Conduct patient intake, document medical information, and report test results as directed.
• Maintain daily logs and documentation.
• Support administrative duties like pre-registering patients, scheduling, referrals, insurance verification, and communication management.
• Organize and prioritize tasks to ensure efficient service.
• Manage inventory of supplies and equipment, including requisitions and repairs.
• Provide general health information and resources to patients under provider guidance.
• Perform other duties as assigned and comply with policies and standards.

Qualifications
