Salud Family Health is seeking a temporary Medical Assistant to provide welcoming care to our patients. The role runs Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, as a full-time temporary assignment.

The position requires a Medical Assistant certification with timely completion within 6 months of hire, and ongoing certification maintenance. Compensation ranges from $21.00 to $28.50 per hour, with comprehensive benefits included.

Qualifications

• Must hold Medical Assistant certification or registration.
• Certification must be completed within 6 months of hire.
• Certification/registration testing must be completed within 3 months; extension up to 3 months if needed.

Medical Assistant

We are looking for a Temporary Medical Assistantto join our team. Your job will be to provide welcoming care to our patients.

Temp Assignment:

• Date of hire to 11/2/26

A Day in the Life of a Medical Assistant with Salud:

As a Medical Assistant, your genuine spirit of caring welcomes patients as the first step in treatment prior to seeing the Doctor, NP, or PA. You will determine the nature of the patient’s visit and obtain vitals. Your thorough and concise chart documentation will provide clear necessary communication. You will maintain a clean and organized environment for both patients and staff.

Qualifications

What you need to be qualified for this job:

• The ability to work with people from all walks of life and to meet them in their place of need
• Current Medical Assistant Certificate

AMedical Assistantnot certified/registered upon hire is required to complete the Medical Assistant certification/registration testing within 3 months of hire. If an employee does not pass, they will be given an additional 3 months to retake the test.

All Medical Assistants must be certified within 6 months of hire and certification must be maintained throughout employment.

• Medical Assistantswithout any formal Medical Assistanttrainingare required to have a current Certification/Registration as a Medical Assistant.

Please Note: This position REQUIRES a Medical Assistant (MA) Certification. A CNA certification is NOT equivalent to a Medical Assistantcertification and cannot be accepted for this position.

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Successful completion of a formal Medical Assistanttraining program, a minimum of 6 months in length, preferred.

Experience:

• Previous healthcare experience is preferred but not required
