Overview

Our Medical Assistants (MAs) are vital team members, contributing to an organized, efficient, and professional healthcare environment. We have established a structured approach to enhance work effectiveness, including an MA Apprenticeship program in partnership with a local college. As a Medical Assistant, you will:

  • Support and collaborate with the healthcare team and patients to address physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
  • Promote patient health, safety, and wellbeing according to care standards and legal guidelines.
  • Perform clinical tasks as directed by authorized healthcare providers, within scope of practice.
  • Assist with front office duties, including scheduling and documentation.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development through in-service trainings.
  • Uphold personal accountability for relationship-based care, organizational mission, and core values.

Medical Assistants are essential for delivering comprehensive patient care. We support growth through a Clinical Ladder program.

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Qualifications

Qualified candidates will have:

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
  • High School Diploma or G.E.D.

Physical requirements include medium work capacity, exerting up to 50 lbs occasionally, 20 lbs frequently, and 10 lbs constantly.
