Mercy Hospital Stoddard - Walmart Clinic in Dexter, MO is seeking a Full-Time Medical Assistant to work with Mercy Primary Care Providers, delivering safe, timely, and patient-centered care in a collaborative clinical setting.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent; preferred graduates from an accredited Medical Assistant program and at least one year of patient care or medical office experience; MA Clinic Academy training will be provided.

Under the direction of the primary care operations team, the Primary Care Patient Care MA works directly with Mercy Primary Care Providers to provide safe, timely, effective, efficient, equitable, patient-centered care in a systematic way. The Primary Care Patient Care MA will partner with patients, providers, and other members of the clinical care team to drive quality outcomes for all patients. Duties and responsibilities will be performed in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Hours/Schedule

Full-Time (40-hrs per week), Days

Education: High school diploma or equivalent

Education Preferred: Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program

Experience Preferred: One year of applicable patient care experience or applicable medical office experience as defined by the clinic

New hire must attend MA Clinic Academy training
