Position Highlights:

• Sign-on Bonus: $6,000 for qualified candidates! External candidates only.
• Shift Schedule: Full time (40 hours), Monday-Friday, 8:15am to 5pm
• Department: Spine Center

As a CMA, your responsibilities include:

• Providing exceptional patient care and supporting efficient medical operations.
• Handling clerical tasks, scheduling, and assisting with examinations and procedures.
• Conducting patient interviews, recording vital signs, and maintaining documentation.
• Preparing examination rooms, administering medications, and following infection control policies.
• Maintaining medication records and supporting point of care testing for seamless healthcare delivery.

Qualifications Needed:

• High School Diploma or GED; Associate’s Degree in Medical Assisting preferred.
• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or ARC.

Current Medical Assistant certification from one of the following is required:

• CMA from AAMA
• CCMA from NHA
• NCMA from NCCT
• RMA from AMT
• RMA from American Allied Health
• NCMSMA from NHCWA
• NRCMA from NAHP
• NRMA from NRMA
