Penn State Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to assist with patient care, specimen collection, routine lab work, and administrative tasks. The role includes coordinating patient flow and scheduling, and serving as a preceptor for MA students.
Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma, CMA/RMA certification eligibility within 90 days or CMA/RMA active status, and BLS certification or plan to obtain it within 6 months.

Responsible for providing assistance with various health care services, for obtaining specimens, for conducting routine lab studies of specimens, and for assisting with administrative functions such as coordinating patient flow and scheduling appointments and phone messages. Serve as a trained preceptor for new medical assistant orientation and for instruction of medical assistant students.
