Shift Details: Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Unit/Location: Gallatin Clinic, Bozeman, MT

Responsibilities include:

• Providing Patient Care: Under the direction of the Clinician, assisting with patient information gathering related to the visit and condition.
• Effective Communication: Clearly communicating with patients through various modalities including telephone and in-person interactions.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver quality patient care. Attention to detail and follow-through are essential.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current American Heart Association (BLS) for healthcare providers certification, obtained prior to start date.
• This position requires one of the following: Successful completion of a Medical Assistant Program, or at least one year of Medical Assistant work experience, or a current active RN/LPN license in Montana.
• Basic computer skills involving word processing and data entry.
• Professional demeanor with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with patients and team members to ensure high satisfaction.
• Ability to protect patient privacy and confidentiality.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in outpatient clinics or healthcare settings.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and relevant software.
• Current national Medical Assistant certification (e.g., RMA, NCMA, CCMA, CMA).

Additional physical and operational requirements include reading labels, operating monitors, manual dexterity, lifting, walking, navigating crowded rooms, standing for extended periods, and driving if applicable.

The hourly rate ranges from $19.20 to $27.35, depending on experience.
