Qualifications

• Current BLS certification or to be completed within first 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Summon and prepare patient for office visit.
• Assist the physician with medical office procedures.
• Administer medications, including injections; document meds as prescribed by ordering physicians.
• Adhere to nursing policies and procedures when documenting in the patient’s medical record.
• Maintain the integrity of the office.
• Maintain current CPR certification.
• Read and reference new policies and Nursing Update newsletters.
• Be an active member of the care team and support care coordination.
