Join Our Sparta Family Medicine Department as a Medical Assistant

We are currently hiring a 0.9 FTE (72 hours bi-weekly) Medical Assistant to join our team. This role offers a great opportunity for those starting their healthcare career and wanting to make a difference.

What’s Available:

• 0.9 FTE - 72 hours bi-weekly
• Monday - Friday, Day shifts
• No weekend or holiday hours required

Responsibilities:

• Provide compassionate care and greet patients warmly to set a positive tone for their appointments.
• Assist with patient care in our family medicine department.
• Update patient information in charting systems.
• Take vital signs.
• Gain hands-on experience working on procedures with nurses and providers.
• Collaborate with a team of providers, medical professionals, and managers dedicated to supporting your success and patient health journeys.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of a Medical Assistant, Practical Nursing, Vocational Nurse program, or completed education eligible for NCLEX-PN.
• Alternatively, a High School Diploma or equivalent with a Medical Assistant Certification.
• Current Infant-Adult Basic Life Support certification for Healthcare Providers.
