Hours: 40 Hours, Days

Job Summary: Under the direction of Management, Physician, and/or Nursing, the incumbent is responsible for assisting with patient care, medical office clinical support, and clerical functions. MA scribes are active members of the care team, providing real-time charting for physicians by shadowing them throughout their shifts and performing a variety of clinical tasks. MA scribe is in the room during each evaluation, documenting directly from the patient and provider conversation. Clinical duties include scheduling tests, obtaining and recording patient health information (including vitals and injections), rooming patients, performing in-office testing, supporting providers, managing schedules, reviewing materials, and other assigned duties. Must learn and perform new standards and processes as implemented, and participate in customer service and patient satisfaction initiatives. Complete any assigned training, perform phlebotomy services, and administer vaccines. Clerical duties include answering phones, scheduling appointments, and providing patient education.
