Colorado Pain Care is seeking a Medical Assistant/Scribe for a four-day, full-time schedule (Monday-Thursday) in Lakewood, CO. The role involves rooming patients, taking histories, assisting providers, and ensuring smooth clinical operations.

You will work in a modern outpatient setting with interventional and regenerative therapies, offering growth opportunities and a strong emphasis on patient care and HIPAA compliance. A supportive team and tuition reimbursement are available.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum one year of experience in a healthcare setting.
• Medical Assistant certification preferred (or required depending on clinic).
• Pain management, orthopedic, or spine experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and obtain medical histories, vital signs, and test results.
• Prepare exam and treatment rooms, equipment, and instruments.
• Assist providers during examinations and in-office procedures.
• Administer medications under physician supervision.
• Assist with pre- and post-procedure patient care and transfers.
• Schedule appointments, follow-ups, and manage patient waitlists.
• Check patients in, verify information, and maintain accurate medical records.
• Manage medical supply inventory and stock exam rooms.
• Provide compassionate support to patients and their families.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and clinic policies.
• Complete required annual training.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
