Job summary

Siouxland Community Health Center in Sioux City, IA is seeking a Medical Assistant for the Riverside location, a full-time role approximating 40 hours per week. The successful candidate will support the Provider team during patient visits, prepare patients and instruments, and help with phlebotomy and immunizations.

The position requires a High School diploma or GED (certification preferred for MA), EMR experience is a plus, and current BCLS plus Mandatory Reporter certification are expected.

MA (Medical Assistant) - Riverside

1 – Full-time (approximately 40 hours per week)

Successful candidate must have solid experience & advanced knowledge of:

• High School diploma or GED, certification preferred for MA.
• Multi-Physician Family Practice experience preferred.
• Electronic Medical / Health Records (EMR) experience a definite plus.
• Current BCLS and Mandatory Reporter certification.

• Prepare patient and all necessary instruments, equipment and paperwork for clinical visits.
• Assist with phlebotomy and administer immunizations.
