Description
The reverse integrated care clinic Medical Assistant will be responsible for supporting the FNP or PA in delivering high-quality physical health care to adults with SPMI and addiction issues within our Reverse Integrated Care Clinic. This role involves assisting with clinical tasks, maintaining patient records, and ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow. The ideal candidate will have experience in a clinical setting, excellent organizational skills, and a genuine interest in working with these patient populations.
Essential Job Functions
The Medical Assistant will be responsible to perform the following duties.
Classification
This position is classified as part-time, non-exempt and the successful candidate will work 20 hours per week.
Compensation
The starting wages, based on established minimum qualifications, are outlined below:
Certified Medical Assistant: $20.00 per hour

Location
This position will be housed at the DBH Clinic located at 2250 North Robins Dr., Layton, Utah 84041.
Qualifications
Education/Certification
Active certification as a Medical Assistant in good standing. Candidates who are pursuing medical assistant certification and have experience directly related to the functions of this position may also be considered.
Experience
Skills/Abilities
Preference may be given for applicants who are fluent in Spanish, but this is not a requirement for employment in this opening.

Davis Behavioral Health is a drug-free workplace and requires all employees to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening. Further, all employees at DBH must successfully pass a pre-employment criminal background check as part of DBH's licensing agreement with the State of Utah. Failure to pass either screening will result in the termination of any job offer submitted and/or employment for any individual who has started employment while the criminal background screening is in process. Pending and/or open charges will likely impact a candidate's ability to pass the pre-employment criminal background screening.
