Job summary

Planned Parenthood of Tennessee and North Mississippi (PPTNM) is hiring for a Medical Assistant or LPN to support clinicians and ensure a smooth patient experience. You will greet patients, take vitals, assist with procedures, and handle routine administrative tasks in a fast-paced clinical setting.

The role requires a CMA certification or an LPN license, plus 1–2 years of healthcare experience. EPIC proficiency is preferred, with some evening/weekend hours possible.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CMA certification or LPN license required.
• 1–2 years healthcare or direct patient service experience preferred.
• Experience in reproductive healthcare or medical office is a plus.
• Familiarity with EPIC EHR is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Attend to patients at the front desk and assist clinicians.
• Take vital signs and collect patient history.
• Assist with gynecological and reproductive health procedures.
• Perform basic lab tasks: phlebotomy, urinalysis, pregnancy tests.
• Educate patients on reproductive health and birth control options.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant documentation and records.
