Job summary

Cook Children's Renaissance Neighborhood Clinic in Fort Worth is seeking a Medical Assistant to support providers in a pediatric primary care setting. The role assists in the preparation and delivery of patient care under clinical supervision and follows established clinical policy and procedures.

Candidates must have a high school diploma and be a graduate of an accredited MA program or hold current MA certification; CPR certification is required and national certification is preferred.

Summary

The Medical Assistant role functions under the clinical supervision of the Physician/Advanced Practice Provider in a primary care practice. This individual assists in the preparation and delivery of patient care as directed by the provider(s) and other licensed clinical personnel. Clinical duties are skillfully and consistently performed per established clinical policy and procedure.

Education & Experience
  • High school diploma required.
  • Required: Either a graduate of an accredited MA school OR a current MA certification.
  • Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification National certification preferred.
  • Current CPR certification required.
