Saline Memorial Hospital in Benton, AR seeks a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) for Orthopedics on a PRN basis. The role supports physicians with patient assessments, procedures, specimen collection, and documentation while performing routine clinical and clerical tasks.

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.
• License: CMA or RMA or CCMA via the AAMA or NHA required.
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• Requires critical thinking, decisive judgment and ability to work with minimal supervision; able to work in a stressful environment.

Responsabilidades

• Performs basic diagnostic procedures and specimen collection; monitors changes in patient condition and documents care.
• Maintains equipment and supplies, reorders, stocks, cleans, and troubleshoots; maintains exam areas.
• Performs administrative duties including filing, reception, scheduling, data entry, and patient registration.
• Exhibits exceptional customer service with patients and teammates.

How You'll Contribute

A Certified Medical Assistant who excels in this role:

• Under the supervision of physicians or nurses, assists with performing patient assessments and treatments.
• Performs basic diagnostic procedures and specimen collection. Monitors and communication changes in patient condition. Documents patient care given.
• Maintains equipment and medical supplies, including reordering, stocking, cleaning, and troubleshooting. Maintains examination areas.
• Perform administrative or clerical duties as assigned, including filing, reception, scheduling, data entry, and patient registration.
• Exhibits exceptional customer service with patients and teammates.
