Medical Assistant (REG) - Siteman Cancer Center

Join our team as a full-time Medical Assistant at Barnes Jewish Hospital with Siteman Cancer Center in St. Louis, MO. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a leading-edge, patient-focused environment.

Role Highlights
  • Outpatient setting
  • $2,500 Sign-On Bonus Eligible
  • 40 hours per week, Day shift (7:00am - 3:30pm)
  • No call, weekends, or holidays
About the Organization

The Radiation Oncology Department collaborates with the Siteman Cancer Center, the only NCI-designated comprehensive cancer center in the St. Louis region, employing about 250 medical and allied health professionals.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and stock exam rooms, perform clinical skills such as point of care testing and EKGs, and document accurately.
  • Support outpatient visits, including scheduling, insurance processing, and resource coordination.
  • Assist with outpatient procedures, specimen labeling, and patient exams.
  • Collect patient information, vital signs, and health histories, relaying critical information to the healthcare team.
Minimum Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • <2 years of experience
  • Certification/Registration in relevant area
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2-5 years of experience
