Baystate Health, a nationally recognized leader in healthcare quality and safety, and home to Baystate Medical Practices, the largest multispecialty group in the region, is looking for a full-time Medical Assistant to join our experienced Brightwood Health Center team in Springfield, MA.

Responsibilities:

Baystate Health Medical Assistants perform an important role providing care to our patients. They take vital signs, perform patient intake and history, clinical orders, procedures, documentation, and patient discharge. Our supportive work environment allows you to provide optimal patient care.

Schedule:

• Full-time, 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday
• 8:00am-4:30pm or 8:30am-5:00pm depending on candidate preference
• NO weekends, NO holidays

Location:

• 380 Plainfield St., Springfield, MA

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED
• CPR-Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association
• Bilingual preferred

Level Qualifications/Requirements:

MAI & MAII: Graduate of an accredited MA program or minimum of 3 years relevant experience, evaluated by hiring manager.

MAIII: Graduate of an accredited MA program with at least 3 years’ current experience or demonstrated competencies with 5 years’ experience.

MAIV: Internal promotion from MAIII, minimum 2 years at Baystate Health with demonstrated competencies, certified/registered.
