Baystate Health, a leader in healthcare quality and safety, and home to Baystate Medical Practices, the largest multispecialty group in the region, is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant for our Northern Edge Adult and Pediatric Medicine team in Springfield, MA.

Responsibilities:

Medical Assistants at Baystate perform vital patient care tasks including taking vital signs, patient intake and history, clinical orders, procedures, documentation, and patient discharge. Our supportive environment enables you to deliver optimal care.

Schedule:
  • Full-time, 40 hours/week, Monday through Friday
  • Flexible hours between 7:45am-5:30pm
  • No weekends or holidays
Location:
  • 3400 Main St., Springfield, MA

Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or GED
  • CPR-Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association
Level Qualifications/Requirements:
  • MAI & MAII: Graduate of accredited MA program or minimum 3 years relevant experience
  • MAIII: Graduate of accredited MA program with at least 3 years’ experience or demonstrated competencies with 5 years’ experience
  • MAIV: Internal promotion, minimum 2 years as MAIII at Baystate, with demonstrated competencies, or certified by a third-party credentialing body
