Baystate Health, a nationally recognized leader in healthcare quality and safety, and home to Baystate Medical Practices, the largest multispecialty group in the region is looking for a full-time Medical Assistant to join our experienced Quabbin Adult Medicine team in Belchertown, MA.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Baystate Health Medical Assistants perform an important role providing care to our patients. They take vital signs, perform patient intake and history, clinical orders, procedures, documentation, and patient discharge. Our supportive work environment allows you to provide optimal patient care.

SCHEDULE:

• Full-time, 40 hours a week
• Flexible schedule: candidate has preference of 8 hour days/5 days a week OR 10 hour days/4 days a week (day off to be discussed)
• NO weekends, NO holidays

LOCATION:

• Belchertown, MA

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School diploma or GED
• CPR-Basic Life Support of Healthcare Provider required from the American Heart Association
• Must be ONE of the following:
• Certified through the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA)
• A Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) Registered as an American Medical Technologist (AMT)
• Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) through the National Healthcare Association
