Job Summary: The medical assistant performs administrative support duties under the direction of the practice manager, including scheduling appointments, answering calls, registering patients, updating demographics, verifying insurance, and processing payments. Clinical duties, supervised by the physician or mid-level provider, include recording vital signs and histories, preparing patients, drawing blood, and administering medications.

Qualifications

Working Conditions & Physical Activity
