Job summary

MaineHealth Behavioral Health in Brunswick is seeking a Medical Assistant to support the outpatient psychiatry team. You will assist with patient intake, documentation, and coordination of care while working closely with psychiatrists, nurses, therapists, and care coordinators.

The ideal candidate holds a high school diploma or GED, active MA credentials, and at least six months of MA experience or one year as a MaineHealth Clinical Team Assistant. A sign-on bonus may be available.

Qualifications

• Current AAMA, NHA, AMT, or NCCT certification required; BLS certification required or obtained within 30 days.

As a Medical Assistant (MA), you will support patients throughout their behavioral health journey while collaborating with psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, nurses, therapists, and care coordinators in an outpatient setting. 3. Experience: Six months of Medical Assistant experience or one year as a MaineHealth Clinical Team Assistant.

Compensation and Benefits

Sign-on bonuses are available for eligible Medical Assistants. The pay range for this position is $21.09 to $27.12 per hour. Compensation for part-time positions is prorated. MaineHealth offers comprehensive benefits, career development opportunities, and other incentives where applicable.
