St. Elizabeth Physicians in Vevay, IN is seeking a Medical Assistant to support physicians and mid-level providers in a primary care setting. You will collect vitals, prepare patients, administer medications, and assist with exams while ensuring HIPAA/OSHA/CLIA compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of MA program including hands-on externship.
• SEP Internship completion required or EMT certification preferred.
• Preferred: CCMA/CMA/RMA/ARMA EMT credential.
• Experience with basic patient care activities and office protocols.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and document vitals.
• Prepare patients for exams and assist providers during examinations.
• Collect specimens and perform basic laboratory tasks as directed.
• Administer medications and injections per provider instructions.
• Maintain HIPAA/OSHA/CLIA compliance and accurate charting.
