This role emphasizes patient communication and accurate charting within a team-based primary care setting. Responsibilities include assisting with exams, collecting specimens, administering medications, and maintaining supplies while supporting revenue-cycle processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
• 1 year MA, CNA, PCA, STNA, SEH Clinical Care Tech experience required.
• Completion of MA Program including hands-on externship.
• Completion of SEP Internship.
• Completion of EMT certification.
• Degree in Health or Biological Sciences including hands-on clinical patient care activities such as Athletic Trainer.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms, interview patients, measure vital signs and document in chart.
• Document the appropriate patient history in chart.
• Provide instructions to patient and address concerns during exam.
• Prepare the patient for the exam and assist the provider during examination.
• Perform nursing procedures under supervision of providers.
• Collect/prep laboratory specimens and perform basic tests.
• Prepare and administer medications as directed.
• Maintain complete and accurate patient charts and revenue-cycle forms.
