Minimum Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • BLS CPR certification by the American Heart Association
  • Successful completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Program, OR one year of Medical Assistant work experience as a substitute
Primary Responsibilities

The Medical Assistant's main duties include providing direct patient care, handling patient registration, scheduling appointments, and performing various office tasks.

Certification

Must obtain at least one of the following Medical Assistant credentials within 6 months of hire:

  • American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA)
  • American Medical Technologists (AMT)
  • National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT)
  • National Healthcareer Association (NHA)

Additional Information

Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. Pay range: $19.25 - $26.81 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
