Neighborhood Health Center in Milwaukie, OR is hiring a Medical Assistant to deliver patient-centered care in a fast-paced primary care setting. You will perform pre-visit tasks, room patients, take vital signs, collect health histories, and assist with procedures under physician orders.

The role requires completion of an accredited MA program, CMA/RMA/NCCT certification preferred, and active BLS. Spanish language skills are highly valued in this community clinic.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent required and completion of an accredited MA program.
• Certification as CMA/RMA/NCCT preferred; active BLS required.
• Experience with EPIC EHR and primary care settings is highly desired.

Mansioni

• Pre-visit procedures, verify labs, update records, and coordinate with provider.
• Prepare exam rooms and greet patients professionally.
• Take vital signs, collect histories, and assist with forms.
• Administer medications as authorized, and perform injections.
• Phlebotomy, EKGs, and basic CLIA-waived tests as trained.
• Document in EHR accurately and maintain room/stock supplies.
• Provide patient education and post-visit summaries.
