Optum is hiring a Medical Assistant in Prescott, AZ to join our ambulatory care team. You will support clinical workflows, assist providers, and engage with patients in a fast-paced environment.

Eligible for a $4,000 sign-on bonus after 30 days of employment and a full benefits package. Qualifications include a Medical Assistant program completion or Military Medic background, CPR/BLS certification, and 1+ year ambulatory care experience preferred.

Required Qualifications:

• High school graduate or GED


• Completion of a Medical Assistant program, or Military Medic program


• Current CPR and / or BLS certification or ability to obtain certification within 30 days of hire

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1+ years of experience in an ambulatory care setting


• Experience with multiple EMR/EHR Systems such as EPIC, E-Clinical Works (ECW), Allscripts Practice Management (APM), NextGen, Cerner


• Bilingual - Spanish

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
