Scottsdale Endoscopy Center is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to join our team. The role includes prep for procedures, vital signs, patient education, and coordinating admissions under supervision. You will handle basic clinical tasks and maintain EMR documentation.

Qualifications

• CPR/BLS certification is required.
• Knowledge of medical terminology is essential.
• Demonstrates clinical competency and ability to teach others.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient information and prepare for health care visits.
• Take vital signs and conduct basic health screenings.
• Assist with preadmission tasks and insurance pre-authorizations.
• Transport patients to procedure rooms as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of pre-op, PACU, and procedure areas.
• Enter data into the EMR per HIPAA standards.
• Provide high-quality bedside manners and patient comfort.
• Support the provider with in-room procedures and supplies.
