Job summary

Upperline Health Florida is seeking an energetic Medical Assistant to support our physicians in the clinic setting. You will work in the Rosedale clinic and assist with a range of clinical and administrative tasks under a podiatric physician.

Responsibilities include rooming patients, reviewing histories, charting, taking and developing X-rays, and maintaining exam areas. EMR experience and a strong customer-service mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in podiatry or orthopedic clinics preferred.
• X-ray experience is a plus.
• Proficiency with EMR systems, preferably athena EMR.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Stable work history and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Place patients in exam rooms and prep for physician.
• Complete intake: medical, social and surgical history.
• Ensure accurate charting for the physician.
• Assist in exams, take and develop X-rays as required.
• Perform daily administrative tasks and restock exam rooms.
• Sterilize and clean exam and X-ray rooms daily.
