Job summary

Balance Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to support our Spring Hill and Columbia locations. The ideal candidate is compassionate, professional, detail-oriented, and committed to providing an excellent patient experience while supporting providers and maintaining efficient clinical operations.

We are looking for 1–2 years of outpatient medical office experience, HS diploma or equivalent, CPR certification preferred, and MA program certification or equivalent training.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of Medical Assistant experience in outpatient settings (podiatry preferred).
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Current CPR certification preferred.
• Certification from an approved Medical Assistant program or equivalent experience desired.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients professionally on site or via phone.
• Escort patients to exam rooms and prepare rooms for providers.
• Take vital signs and perform basic tests per provider guidance.
• Maintain clean, stocked exam rooms and proper supplies.
