US Foot & Ankle Specialists is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our podiatry practice. You will work directly with patients, support physicians, and be part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

We provide hands-on training and ongoing clinical education, making this a great opportunity for those new to the field or looking to grow their clinical skills. Travel between local office locations may be required.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of Medical Assistant program or 1+ year clinical experience preferred.
• Experience with medical terminology and insurance processes is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Welcome, room, and prepare patients for exams and in‑office procedures.
• Take vitals, update histories, record medications/allergies, and document in the EMR.
• Assist physicians with minor procedures, post‑op care, X‑rays, and podiatric services.
• Apply dressings, DME, and provide patient instructions and education.
• Manage lab specimens, verify insurance, pre‑authorizations, and process prescriptions.
• Make post‑operative calls and provide excellent customer service.
• Open, prep, clean, and close exam rooms; sterilize instruments; manage supplies.
• Maintain HIPAA compliant documentation and support back‑office operations.
