Job summary

Clover Health in Georgia is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join our field-based team delivering in-home care to medically complex Medicare members. This is a full-time, Monday–Friday role requiring daily travel within Georgia, with a home-based visit focus.

You will partner with providers, take vitals, perform phlebotomy as directed, document in EMR, and help close care gaps while supporting patient engagement.

Qualifications

• You must hold a Medical Assistant certification from an accredited program.
• At least 1 year of healthcare experience (home-based care is a plus).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Able to walk up 3 flights of stairs and carry up to 40 lbs. of equipment.
• Fluent in English and Spanish preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Providers before, during, and after visits to support patient care.
• Be the friendly face during visits, assist with translation, gather information, take vitals, and answer questions.
• Perform phlebotomy and other essential medical tasks as directed by the Provider.
• Help close care gaps, review consent forms, and maintain accurate documentation.
• Coordinate through electronic health records (EHR) systems.
• Maintain medical supplies and ensure visits are well-prepared.
• Support outreach to schedule visits and boost patient engagement.
• Travel independently or with the provider to patient visits.

About The Role

This is a full-time, field-based role involving daily travel to conduct visits in members' homes. Candidates must reside in or near one of our covered service areas throughout Georgia.

We're looking for Certified Medical Assistants who are passionate about delivering compassionate, high-quality care in patients' homes. In this role, you'll work alongside providers to support patients with complex healthcare needs while helping improve health outcomes through personalized, community-based care. This is a full-time, Monday through Friday position.

Salary Range: $23-$27 per hour

• Certified MAs (CMA, RMA, or CCMA) start at a higher hourly rate.

As a Certified Medical Assistant, You Will

• You have a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire).
• You have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• You have basic computer proficiency; and are comfortable with documentation in electronic medical records (EMRs).
• You are able to walk up 3 flights of stairs and carry up to 40 lbs. of equipment.
• You are fluent in both English and Spanish, with strong verbal and written communication skills (preferred but not required).
