Qualifikationen

• Current certification/registration as a Medical Assistant. In DE, certification required within 1 year of hire. BLS required.

Aufgaben

• Prepares patient for exam by taking vital signs, documenting chief complaint, and prepping the exam room.
• Performs phlebotomy and collects specimens for processing; administers vaccines and documents accordingly.
• Conducts tests such as EKG and pulmonary function under physician supervision.
• Screens and directs calls, relays prescriptions and test results per protocol.
• Performs daily regulatory testing and maintains equipment accuracy and compliance.
• Registers patients, schedules appointments and assists with front desk duties.
