Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Bloodborne Pathogen Standard is required.
• Medical Assistant Certification or EMT is preferred. BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains clean, stocked clinical environment for patient care.
• Performs phlebotomy and prepares specimens for lab transport.
• Takes vital signs and prepares patients for procedures.
• Provides general clinical support to physicians and staff.
• Answers phones, schedules appointments, and collects co-pays and payments.
• Assists with billing and updates the electronic medical record.
