Job summary

Precision Orthopedics & Sports Medicine is seeking a Medical Assistant - PRN to support clinical and administrative tasks at our Laurel/Gaithersburg locations. You will prepare patients, assist providers during examinations, take vital signs, and handle specimen processing while maintaining accurate records.

A Medical Assistant training program and CMA certification are preferred; bilingual skills are a plus. PRN and temporary FT hours available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a medical assistant training program.
• Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examinations by taking vital signs and medical histories.
• Assist healthcare providers during examinations and procedures, ensuring a sterile environment.
• Perform phlebotomy and specimen processing, including the collection and handling of samples.
• Manage patient records and ensure accurate documentation of medical information.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate patient flow to optimize clinic efficiency.
• Assist Physician with C-Arm
