Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience as a Medical Assistant.
• Phlebotomy experience required.
• Experience in Primary Care preferred.
• Athena EMR experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Take manual vital signs and document in the EMR.
• Assist providers with exams, diagnostic tests, and point-of-care testing.
• Administer immunizations, injections, and oral medications.
• Observe and record patient reactions.
• Perform phlebotomy and prepare lab specimens.
• Process labs, swabs, and other samples.
• Provide routine patient education and self-management support.
• Track preventive care needs, referrals, and follow-up items.
• Conduct outreach to patients and specialists for referrals, care gaps, and records.
• Manage patient flow throughout the care center.
• Set up exam and procedure rooms based on visit needs.
• Answer multi-line phones and assist with front desk duties when needed.
• Schedule appointments and support patient registration.
• Maintain inventory and restock supplies.
• Serve as an external-facing representative for the clinic.
• Travel to other sites for coverage or events as needed.
• Follow safety and infection-control protocols.
