Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Implements Patient Care protocols including vital signs, specimen collection, PPD placement/readings, hearing and vision testing as directed.
• Follows infection control guidelines to ensure proper clinic environment.
• Assists clinicians during patient evaluations, acting as chaperone as needed.
• Performs phlebotomy and administers PPDs as ordered.
• Obtains and processes laboratory specimens per protocols.
• Reviews chart prior to patient departure for follow-up appointments, prescriptions and referrals.
• Coordinates healthcare activities with Scheduling Department.
• Ensures patients understand all instructions before leaving the clinic.
• Participates in staff training to ensure quality standards and practices.
• Attends supervision, meetings, and agency events per supervisor directives.
